Seems like a good product and customer service is on point. The only thing is there aren't any instructions on how much to use or how long afterwards should I wait to have drinks or food.

I love the idea of a probiotic mouthwash and while I haven't personally tried this product yet, I bought it as a gift for my brother. He shares the same belief that I do, that traditional mouthwashes do more harm than good, and maintaining a healthy microbiome is in your mouth is extremely beneficial. So far he absolutely loves this product, it makes his teeth and mouth feel more clean than brushing alone. This is the first mouthwash that he has found that he feels comfortable using regularly.

What is the recommended serving size?

About a teaspoon or two (once or twice a day). Treat the Riven Rinse like you would any other mouthwash. You'll start seeing benefits of a healthier oral ecosystem with continued, long-term use.

Do I shake the bottle before each use?

Yes, please shake thoroughly before each use.

Do I rinse with water after?

Nope. We want the Riven Strains to be able to do its magic in the mouth. They'll do all the work for your oral ecosystem so you can get to doing more important things.

Do I rinse before or after brushing and flossing?

If you're using a Fluoride or Hydroxyapatite toothpaste, you want to rinse first to allow the Fluoride to coat your teeth. If you prefer using a fluoride free paste, use the Riven Rinse after.

What is the shelf life? Where is the expiration?

We produce the Riven Rinse in small batches to ensure maximum potency and effectiveness. We recommend using the Riven Rinse within 6 months of opening. You can find the expiration date above the barcode.

How often should I use this?

Preferably twice a day or once at night.

How long can I use it for?

Ideally you should be using the Riven probiotic daily to keep your oral biome strong and healthy but people with an especially damaged biome, 2 months minimum is what we'd recommend. We won't be mad if you use it forever.
